Card Holder

I made this for the Guest DT challenge at HSS for April. I used a page protector and altered it as a card holder. The flowers are from the Walk In My Garden cricut cartridge. The lettering is Making Memories foam stamps (Mixed Font), paper is by Dream Street. Ribbon is by American Crafts, and Bazzill Cardstock.

This is the card holder open.

Happy Birthday Tyler!

Today is my youngest sons birthday. He turned 9. Hard to believe my baby is that old.

Tyler also earned his wolf in cub scouts today. This is him with his leader and cub master (the theme of pack meeting was magic)

We had a friend take our picture with Tyler, and unfortunately this is the only pic he took and I have my eyes closed. Oh well.

On another note, I won the Cosmo Cricket contest at Treasures to Scrap!!! WOO HOO!!! Im am very excited!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Sledding layout

I scrapped all day yesterday. I got two layouts done, but can only share one for now. I took my kids sledding a couple of times this year and got pictures on one of the times. This is what I came up with. I like how it turned out. You cant tell from the scan, but I put stickles glitter on the snowflakes. I also painted all the edges of the cardstock/paper and pictures with white paint. I splattered the lettering with white paint as well.

TTS Monthly Kit

Its upload day for the Monthly Kits over at Treasures To Scrap. I was able to put a kit together for them This is my kit: Baby and Blues

For this layout, I stamped Easter on white cardstock (stamps included in the kit), then cut the letters out. I made the paper piecing from clipart I purchased, everything else is included in the kit.

On this layout, I traced the stars (included in kit) onto the patterned paper and cardstock. The letters are traced from Basic Grey Monograms. The Scrappers floss tied on the b is from Karen Foster. TTS sells both the monograms and the floss seperately.

I decided to make a card like a file folder for this one. I have a coluzzle file folder template, which I used to cut this one out. I cut the rocket out of the paper. The tag is made out of the packaging from the dipsticks, which are included in the kit.

I hope youll stop by and check out the kits. Remember, everything in the paper store is 35% off everyday! There is a link to Treasure to scrap on the right hand side of my blog under places you can find me.
Have a great day!
