Snow Day!

Today is a snow day for us. They cancelled church today because of the snow. I cant remember the last time church or school was cancelled for snow. My kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow.

This first picture is my front yard. Yes, my van is on my grass. We cant park on the street and have no where else to park LOL. My dh had already shoveled the driveway twice, but it was snowing so much that its still white.

This second picture is at my SILs house about 50 miles south of me. She is about 5'6" (to give you an idea of how much snow there really is).

On another note, I won a blog prize today from TTS! Woo Hoo! Im excited. All I had to do was leave a comment.
Tuesday is upload day for HSS again. I will share my upload as soon as I upload there. Be sure to check out all the DT uploads...they make some awesome, inspiring things.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

I'm gasping looking at the big snow-covered pines behind your SIL. I miss snow (not shoveling it, mind you). Sleds. Snow days. Snow icing on tree boughs.

I hit enter too soon -- I also wanted to say HAPPY BLOG SURPRISE! Isn't that fun? Looking forward to your new posts, too! I think I signed up for HSS so I could see a gallery Veronica wanted me to see, but I really had no idea what it was. (dork, I'm tellin' ya!)

That is some SERIOUS snow! We used to get snow like that out here when I was young, but haven't seen much snow in the last five years or so... disheartening.
