Paper Trends Toot

I got an email today requesting my baseball album for the August/September issue of Paper Trends. I am very excited about it. I think my oldest son, whom the album is about, will also be very excited! I had to remove it from my blog and galleries. I know that I have regular hits on that post, so thats where it went.

Holiday Organizer

I havent created anything lately to upload and share, so I thought I would share my organizer that was published in the Dec/Jan issue of Paper Trends. This was so much fun to make. I bought the file from Target. The paper is Doodley Doo Holiday from SEI. The lettering is Making Memories foam stamps. I stamped the letters then cut them out. The rubon lettering is Doodlebug all mixed up. I just love that font.

Easter Card

This is a card I made for Kathi's card challenge at HSS. I just love to make paper piecings and cards are a great way to use them. I made the bunny pattern from clip art I purchased at PC crafter. Cute huh?

My next project I hope to make is for Chris' color challenge. She chose the colors of black, lime green, and turquoise, and you can add a little bit of white as an accent. I love the colors, so I'm hoping to get it done. If you have done layouts in those colors link me up so I can see them.

GDT Challenge Layout

I made this layout for the Guest DT challenge over at HSS for March. The requirements were 1. to have some sort of stitching (I used rubons), 2. Rub-Ons (Name and stitching), 3. Stamps (Heidi Swapp frills stamp around name), 4. Chipboard, and 5. flowers. I dont use flowers very often. I only have boys and couldnt figure out how to use them so I borrowed some pictures of my niece.

Well, Im off to bed. This daylight savings time change has messed me up. Im not tired at night, but cant get up in the morning and I have to sub tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Upload day for March

Its upload day at Happy Scrappin Scrapbooking today. Here are my projects for this month.

I used Bazzill cardstock, Chatterbox paper, and American Crafts thickers for this one. The heart is by Heidi Swapp.

I found a similar tote over at Split Coast Stampers. I redid the pattern to make it bigger and the sides are a bit different. This was so fun to make. I used Bazzill Cardstock and Dream Street (Baylees Garden) paper.

On this card I used MME Confetti paper, and Doodlebug stamps. I need to play with these stamps some more.
