Scrapbook Trends December 2008 issue

My son just told me a package arrived at the door. I hadnt ordered anything and so ran to see what it was, and it was from Scrapbook Trends. I had almost forgotten I had a package coming. I am in the December issue. It is the last thing I have submitted...guess Id better get back on the ball and start submitting again.

The editor mentioned me in the Note from the Editor at the front of the book. That was exciting to see (click on it to make it bigger). Its even more exciting because this was my first pub with S.T. YAY!

Simply Obsessed

I have some fun news today...I am the Guest DT for Simply Obsessed for August! Woo Hoo

I got the August kit and this is what Ive made with it so far...

My first one is a two pager of my oldest son playing baseball. All of our teams are named after local professional/semi professional sports teams. The baseball team is named after the Salt Lake Bees. I paper pieced the bee and it is the Logo of the Salt Lake Bees

In other scrappy news, I got an email last week from Scrapbook Trends requesting something for their Dec. issue. I was excited...my first time with them.
