More layouts...

Heres my newest layouts I made using the Simply Obsessed Kit for May.
I got 9 photos on my first layout. These papers can also be purchased individually at One Single Seed.

For this card, I used a sheet of transparency to make the base of the card. I put the background paper on the inside of the card. The paper was printed from the April Mega kit in the digi store at One Single Seed.

I wanted to show another use for the pink paislee paper so I did a "boy" layout using the wood grain paper. The lettering here did not come in the kit. The "Derby" lettering is by Jenni Bowlin and can be purchased at One Single Seed.

Thanks for looking!

Hybrid Layout

For my OSS DT I was challenged to make a hybrid layout using the April Mega Kit in the digi store. This is what I came up with.
This 2 page layout is for my niece.

Im digi challenged and it took me a bit to figure out how to print stuff out, but Robin suggested using Word and that worked great for me. I started a new word document and then went to insert picture. I browsed my files for the elements I wanted to print from the digi kit. I selected them and they went on the page. To resize them I clicked on the image and a box formed around them and allowed me to resize. I printed the flower twice and cut out the layers seperately then relayered...I thought this would give me more of a 3-D effect. I loved that little bird and just printed and cut it out. All of my pattern paper is printed as well from papers in the kit. I used a border punch on the yellow to give it a design. I used Basic Grey monograms and traced them onto more paper I had printed from the kit to do my title.

You should really give hybrid a try. It was lots of fun!

Birthday layout

This is from Tylers birthday last week. He decided he wanted cupcakes for his cake this year, so we put 10 cupcakes on a plate and put candles in them so he could blow out the candles on his cake.
I made this layout using products from One Single Seed...Bo Bunny Paper and Bazzill cardstock.

I made this sketch of my layout for the sketch challenge at Simply Obsessed this month. Check out the Simply Obsessed blog for this and other challenges. I would love to see your take on the sketch!

Hope youre having a wonderful day...More scrappy stuff coming soon.

Finally, a new layout

I have been in such a creative slump lately...no mojo to be found at my house. I have ideas but no motivation to do anything LOL. I finally got around to making a new layout today! Bo Bunny sponsored One Single Seed and I got the pet shop line. Its a fun line, and I love the papers. Heres a layout I made today with it. This also goes along with one of the "spring training" challenges over at Simply Obsessed.

Im headed to the scrapbook expo this weekend. Im hoping to be inspired and find my creativity again.

Hey everyone... I just want to take a moment today and thank you all for joining the little dream I have here and thank you all for the wonderful people you are. What a great experience to have so many people to share in my life with. I am blessed..

Last month I gave my CT and Designers a special challenge. They were to create a layout that had the title of "I Matter" now, as some of you might know.. I do have a bit of a soft spot in me and sometimes can get kinda mushy.. so bare with me as I give this challenge and I hope to see that it gives you the joy it has already given to us that have done it.

As we created these layouts I had the girls post them in a private forum for the CT and what ended up happening.... we learned to grow and love one another and learn things about each other that was such a fun experience it made us closer. These layouts are now debuting in a slide show on our home page. Take a minute to see each of them and learn a bit about the amazing group I get to work with each and every day. They Matter !!!!

Your Challenge:
Create a layout this week during the Grand Opening. It needs to be about YOURSELF... and with the title of "I Matter" on the layout. I would like to create a slideshow of all the members here at OSS with your layouts on them. For everyone that participates there name will be put in a drawing. There will be a digi and a paper winner. Page must be completed and put into the gallery with a link back to this thread to qualify. If you are doing a digi layout... please use a kit from one of our designers here at OSS. If you are doing a paper layout... please use product available in our paper store. (no you don't have to purchase them here just be available here) (due to shipping time)
